Similar or identical points – checking points

Select Tools -> Checking points Checking points – allows to perform advanced point control, consisting of finding groups of similar (or identical) points, according to given criteria. The result of the “checking points” is the text report and appropriate selection of the points meeting the criteria. It is possible to average the coordinates, or to merge several points into one. – During coordinate averaging, the resulting (averaged) coordinates are overwritten into the first point in the group, whereas the remaining points are deleted. – During merging points, the first point is remained, but when certain information (e.g. code, ordinate) is missing, the program “takes over” this information from subsequent points in the group. Similarly to averaging, the first point is remained and the rest is removed.
